The W.A. Local Government Supervisors Association has pleasure in announcing that it is sponsoring two new scholarships, to enable promising local government staff to attend the Annual State Conference in 2010.

The WALGSA Annual Scholarships will enable a local government staff member from, ideally, both a country shire and a metropolitan shire, to attend the WA Annual State Conference, wherever it is held.

However, if it is deemed that there are two outstanding country entrants or two outstanding metropolitan entrants, the scholarships will be awarded accordingly.

The Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Manager Infrastructure or those in a similar management position, are requested to promote these scholarships to members of their staff, and to nominate appropriate staff members by the due closing date.

Please note: these scholarships are not open to current Supervisors or Managers.

Scholarship Entries

Completed forms and other information must be returned to the Regional Secretary for Committee consideration, by COB, Monday 31st May 2010.
